Vitamins and minerals are essential nutrients because they perform hundreds of roles in the body. There is a fine line between getting enough of these nutrients (which is healthy) and getting too much (which can end up harming you). Eating a healthy diet remains the best way to get sufficient amounts of the vitamins and minerals you need.

Every day, your body produces skin, muscle, and bone. It churns out rich red blood that carries nutrients and oxygen to remote outposts, and it sends nerve signals skipping along thousands of miles of brain and body pathways. It also formulates chemical messengers that shuttle from one organ to another, issuing the instructions that help sustain your life. One of the most common nutritional deficiencies is iron deficiency anemia. Your blood cells need iron to supply your body with oxygen, and if you don’t have enough iron, your blood will not function properly. Other nutritional deficiencies that can affect your blood cells include low levels of vitamin B12, folate, or vitamin C.

Vitamin D deficiency may affect the health of your bones, making it difficult for you to absorb and use calcium (another mineral that you may not be getting enough of). Although you can get vitamin D by going out in the sun, many people with concerns about skin cancer may end up with low levels of vitamin D by not getting enough sun.

But to do all this, your body requires some raw materials. These include at least 30 vitamins, minerals, and dietary components that your body needs but cannot manufacture on its own in sufficient amounts. Vitamins and minerals are considered essential nutrients—because acting in concert, they perform hundreds of roles in the body. They help shore up bones, heal wounds, and bolster your immune system.

*L-Glutamine: Is one of the most important nutrients for a healthy digestive tract because of its ability to maintain the integrity of the intestinal wall. This amino acid, in fact, it's the most abundant amino acid in the body, heals all tissues in the body, especially those irritated tissues in the digestive tract.

*BCAA: Branched-chain” refers to the chemical structure of BCAAs, which are found in protein-rich foods such as eggs, meat, and dairy products. They are also a popular dietary supplement sold primarily in powder form. One of the most popular uses of BCAAs is to increase muscle growth. The BCAA leucine activates a certain pathway in the body that stimulates muscle protein synthesis, which is the process of making muscle. This increase in muscle protein synthesis is approximately 50% less than. Whey protein contains all the essential amino acids needed to build muscle. Therefore, while BCAAs can increase muscle protein synthesis, they can’t do so maximally without the other essential amino acids, such as those found in whey protein powder or other complete protein sources.

Power Boost Formula - Pre Workout

Niacin: Vitamin B3 or Niacin is primarily used to lower high cholesterol levels in the body. It is also used to treat respiratory or vascular disorders. Foods such as fish, nuts, and chicken are good sources of this vitamin. It aids in good blood circulation, normal functioning of the brain, and boosts memory.

Vitamin B6: Our bodies use B vitamins to convert the food we eat into the energy we need to function. Together, the complex of eight B vitamins is important for metabolism, brain and liver function, growth, and building blood cells, as well as for maintaining healthy hair, skin, and vision.

Folic Acid: A synthetic form of folic acid is used in dietary supplements and fortified foods. Folic acid acts by helping the body produce and maintain new cells. In particular, red blood cell formation is dependent upon adequate levels of this vitamin. Folic acid deficiency is a known cause of anemia in both adults and children.

*Black Pepper Extract: It turns out black pepper serves up all sorts of health benefits, including improved digestion, helps relieve coughs and colds, treats skin problems, and boosts metabolism to enhance weight loss efforts.  We don’t miss the salt at all, and our food tastes just as good seasoned with black pepper.

 Whey Protein Powder

*Whey protein is the protein fraction of whey, which is a liquid that separates from milk during cheese production. It is a complete, high-quality protein, containing all of the essential amino acids. In addition, it is very digestible and absorbed from the gut quickly compared to other types of protein. These qualities make it one of the best dietary sources of protein available.

There are three main types of whey protein powder: concentrate (WPC), isolate (WPI), and hydrolysate (WPH). Concentrate is the most common type and is also the cheapest. As a dietary supplement, whey protein is widely popular among bodybuilders, athletes, and others who want additional protein in their diet. Inflammation is part of the body's response to damage. Short-term inflammation is beneficial, but under certain circumstances, it may become chronic.

Chronic inflammation can be harmful and is a risk factor for many diseases. It may reflect underlying health problems or bad lifestyle habits. A large review study found that high doses of whey protein supplements significantly reduced C-reactive protein (CRP), a key marker of inflammation in the body

Whey protein has a very high nutritional value and is one of the best dietary sources of high-quality protein. It is highly digestible and absorbed quickly compared to other proteins

Joint Support

Glucosamine Sulfate: Glucosamine sulfate is a chemical found in the human body. It is used by the body to produce a variety of other chemicals that are involved in building tendons. Some researchers think the "sulfate" part of glucosamine sulfate is also important. Sulfate is needed by the body to produce cartilage. This is one reason why researchers believe that glucosamine sulfate might work better than other forms of glucosamine, such as glucosamine hydrochloride or N-acetyl glucosamine. These other forms do not contain sulfate.

*Boswellia Extract: Also known as Indian frankincense, it is an herbal extract taken from the Boswellia serrata tree. Resin made from boswellia extract has been used for centuries in Asian and African folk medicine. It’s believed to treat chronic inflammatory illnesses as well as several other health conditions. Studies show that boswellia may reduce inflammation and may be useful in treating the following conditions: osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis...asthma...inflammatory bowel disease.

Chondroitin Sulfate: Is an important structural component of cartilage and provides much of its resistance to compression. Along with glucosamine, chondroitin sulfate has become a widely used dietary supplement for the treatment of osteoarthritis.

Turmeric is a spice that comes from the turmeric plant. It is commonly used in Asian food. You probably know turmeric as the main spice in curry. It has a warm, bitter taste and is frequently used to flavor or color curry powders, mustards, butters, and cheeses. Turmeric is promoted as a dietary supplement for a variety of conditions, including arthritis, digestive disorders, respiratory infections, allergies, liver disease, depression, and many others.

Turmeric is a common spice and a major ingredient in curry powder. Curcumin is a major component of turmeric, and the activities of turmeric are commonly attributed to curcuminoids (curcumin and closely related substances). Curcumin gives turmeric its yellow color. Turmeric dietary supplements are made from the dried rhizome and typically contain a mixture of curcuminoids. Turmeric is also made into a paste for skin conditions.

Omega-3 Fish Oils

Fish Oil: Several studies have shown that people with anxiety and depression had a far lower intake of omega-3 fatty acids than those without those conditions. Adding this to the diet increases the number of serotonin — the "happy hormone" — receptors in a developing brain. For those treating anxiety, EPA omega-3 is a viable supplement. For growing children, choose DHA at the most effective dose of 2000mg per day, if your child's health care provider approves. You may only feel the benefits after three weeks on the fish oil.

Omega-3: Many North Americans have turned to omega-3 fish oil supplements, which have benefits for healthy people and also those with heart disease.

Omega-3 fish oil contains both DHA and EPA. Omega-3 fatty acids are essential nutrients that are important in preventing and managing heart disease.

Findings show omega-3 fatty acids may help to: Lower blood pressure, reduce triglycerides, slow the development of plaque in the arteries, reduce the chance of abnormal heart rhythm, reduce the likelihood of heart attack and stroke, lessen the chance of sudden cardiac death in people with heart disease

EPA: Eicosapentaenoic acid (EPA) is an omega-3 fatty acid. It's found in the flesh of cold-water fish, including mackerel, herring, tuna, halibut, salmon, and cod liver, as well as whale and seal blubber.

DHA: Docosahexaenoic acid, or DHA, is a type of omega-3 fat. Like the omega-3 fat eicosapentaenoic acid (EPA), DHA is plentiful in oily fish, such as salmon and anchovies. Your body can only make a small amount of DHA from other fatty acids, so you need to consume it directly from food or a supplement.

Together, DHA and EPA may help reduce inflammation and your risk of chronic diseases, such as heart disease. On its own, DHA supports brain function and eye health. Increasing DHA intake may help reduce inflammation and balance the excess of inflammatory omega-6 fats typical in Western diets. Therefore, DHA may help alleviate symptoms of conditions such as rheumatoid arthritis and heart disease.

Probiotic 40

*Benefits of taking probiotics? Bacteria have a reputation for causing disease, so the idea of tossing down a few billion a day for your health might seem hard to swallow.

But a growing body of scientific evidence suggests that you can treat and even prevent some illnesses with foods and supplements containing certain kinds of live bacteria.

Some digestive disease specialists are recommending probiotic supplements for disorders that frustrate conventional medicine, such as irritable bowel syndrome.

Probiotic therapy may also help people with Crohn's disease and irritable bowel syndrome.
